Gravity Haus Truckee Tahoe

Gravity Haus is a recently renovated hotel on the outskirts of Truckee. Fitted with both rustic and modern touches, Gravity Haus is a great place to relax after a long day on the slopes. The Gravity Haus reminds us of a German hotel and in some of the rooms, the back of the beds adjust up and down, almost like a chaise lounge. Everything was bright, cheerful, and modern.

Gravity Haus also has a fun perk which are bikes to borrow to take to Downtown Truckee!

Hampton Inn and Suites Truckee-Tahoe

Although it is tucked away from the beach and town, The Hampton Inn and Suites Truckee-Tahoe provides a quiet, peaceful, nature getaway with Downtown Truckee and Donner Lake only about 15 minutes away. Rooms come with large tv, fridges and the choice between a King or 2 Queens. Suites are good-sized and located on the top floor of the hotel.

When we stayed they were still under Covid protocols. The Hampton Inn and Suites had boxes to go filled with a bagel, cream cheese, yogurt, and 2 eggs. If you wanted more they also set out Greek yogurt, granola, boxed cereal, milk, soy milk, and fruit to grab and go.
